Probably only Australians can help with this but a few issues ago, the AWM magazine had an article about a WW1 memoir. Unfortunately, the research showed that most of the book was fabricated. From memory, the fellow even claimed to serve with the Canadian army? I wrote the details down at the time, but they're lost now, so I'm wondering if anyone might have a copy and be able to give me details of the memoir concerned?

Larso mate,
The Australian War Memorial produces a quarterly magazine known as "Wartime", which covers all wars that Aussie servicemen and women participated in. If this is the publication you are referring too then I have every issue including the latest No. 58 Was the article you are looking for a feature or a book review. I will be pleased do some research for you if you can supply some more detail either by PM or email at northgate.woods@bigpond.com
Cheers Howard

Hi Howard!

Yes 'Wartime', I should've remembered that name! Yes could you please have a look? The article was a few months ago now, perhaps in the March/April time frame but certainly in this year. I would appreciate any time you put into it.

Regards
John
