Hi Wellington,
I have this book and I can only recommend it. It is a beautiful book, not only with plenty of the wonderful prints from Don Troiani's paintings but also with great info on equipment, weapons and historical facts about the depicted troops of all parties involved.
Anybody interested in that period of history will not be dissapointed.

Thanks for the reply, I have only heard good things about this book...but I'm glad a fellow collector likes it, mine is in the mail as we speak..

Hi There!
Take a look at page 61...That is my son posing as the Fusilier, Hesse-Cassel Regt Erbprinz, 1776. That was a result of one of our trips to Don's a couple of years ago.
This is a great book with lots of wonderful art and great photos of surviving artifacts from the period...highly recommended!

Ken,
that must have been a great experience with your dedication to history and visiting Don Troiani and have your son posing for one of his pictures.
Wonderful!
Congratulations and thanks for sharing this.
