My Do-335 was delivered here in Boston today, sorry no pictures, maybe someone else that purchased one can post some here? This is my first ever wood model and it looks better than the stock pictures. My measurements has it at 1/32 and not 1/30 scale but I'm not complaining. I love this Do-335 and I'm looking forward to more TG planes. Thanks Tom . . . :salute::

Paul to be honest if it not 1/30 I would not be happy mate for the money your paying out, there a big difference between 1/30 and 1/32 scale and will be interested to hear what Tg have to say on the subject as there very good on getting back to people with question

When planes are that size, frankly the difference between 1/30 and 1/32 is not as marked as it is with a figure.

I believe that all the wood planes I have made by K & C are 1/32 and you really can't tell the difference.

Well Brad I've got both and I can tell the difference and would not display them together as it stand out

Brad, thanks for that info on K&C planes. I was expecting this Do-335 to be closer to 1/32 scale anyway and I'd say your right, "you really can't tell the difference". The height on this Do-335 is true 1/30 scale. The length and wing span are, to my measurements, 1/32 scale but you can't notice anything "off". This Do-335 is stunning, amazing and I'm super glad I own one.

Did you also purchase the Do-335 Brad?

All the aircraft are handmade and as such no two are exactly alike. The difference in wingspan between a 1/30 scale model and a 1/32 scale model would be something like 2cm if that, for a plane this size!
When I first saw the Dornier and put it next to our 1/30 figures I thought it was too big, but then it was one of the biggest fighter planes of the second world war. It really is a huge plane and I still remember the looks on the boys faces in the office when the first sample turned up - she is a jaw dropping model!
We were oversubscribed on the Dornier and the Eindecker and as such if you have one I would say you are a very lucky boy!
To cope with the demand we have 2 more German WW2 planes coming within the next 3 months and then another 2 Allied aircraft from WW2, around 2 months later.
In between these we have a couple of WW1 Allied planes also on the way, so hopefully something for everyone!
Kind Regards Vicki

Vicki, you are right. I can be off on my measurements. I come out with 1/31 scale on the wingspan & length and 1/30 scale on height and tail wing. I LOVE THIS PLANE !!!

I need more, keep them coming!!
