Dragon Cando 1/35 figures (1 Viewer)

Does anyone remember these figures...... They were sold under their cando line albeit the armour in this line was 1/144. Similar to the cando armour line there was always a special X version of limited production including the panzer ace series. The later releases were either sets with dogs or machine gun team. They only did german figues but at one of the dragon expos they released unpainted US paratroopers as a special. I will see if I still have any of them hanging around. I beleive the dragon cyberhobby limited edition series also had figures with select sets too

I think the figures were based on some of Dragon's model figures, only painted and assembled. One of my friends went to IPMS Nationals and brought me a sample of an unpainted US paratrooper that was given out as a sample - he was NOT one of Dragon's regular poses. This was a unique figure and was cast in buff-colored resin. Wish they had done more.

One of the dollar chain stores was selling these and had quite a few of them to choose from. I almost picked some up but changed my mind because of the smaller scale and the fact that I,m not a WWII guy but they looked pretty cool and at a buck each I thought the price was good.
I can,t remember which dollar store though? I think it might have been the Dollar tree??? They may still have them? It was only a couple of months back I saw them.

Here are some of the other sets in the series. In North America they were sold with transparent packaging similar to the cando 1/144 arnour line in contrast to Asia. In the Asian market they were sold similar to how we sell baseball cards - contents unknown.

Dragon Expo 04

This is a set of 4 US Airborne figures given during the Dragon Expo 2004. The figures are un-painted. They never went into mass production and still today remains the only non-german figures in the cando 1/35 product line.
