Hi Fellas,
Hope you guys are all doing well. I always enjoy looking at the various vignettes that Andy/K&C creates to highlight new pieces, especially when the pieces are combined from different pieces. Vignettes like these illustrate the numerous opportunities to create unique scenes.
Take for example the Vietnam Wall set:
I would never have thought of combining the "Vietnam Wall" being much lighter in color, with the Corner Fountain. European vs. Asian theaters, the idea works well.
Not having any of K&C's Vietnam collection, I picked up the Wall Set for my Normandy Village, a nice addition I might add. I'll share an additional image or two as displayed, but here's a little example of what I'm talking about:
So many of K&C's pieces are versatile and one sometimes should venture out of a specific theme to see how different pieces (many of which are not always numbered as "Scenic" can be added to an existing collection). K&C's vignettes help provide so many ideas to help with this. Appreciate this aspect of the hobby.
