I have never claimed to be an expert!!! While sifting thru some un-opened items from days gone by I came across an Forces of Valor Hanomag and the figures are dressed in winter uniforms. The vehicle is from the Battle of Kursk which took place of course in July. Historical accuracy is important to some of us as I am sure I paid a hard earned price for it. Maybe I am sounding petty!!!

The wrong location description for an item is fairly minor providing the vehicle and uniform are correct as shown. If the winter uniforms are incorrect, or the fittings on the vehicle then you have cause for complaint. Britains produced a Highland figure of the Black Watch which they described as being of the regiment at Culloden in 1742. The problem was that the BW was not at Culloden and Culloden itself happened in 1746, but the figure was correct for the period and so was perfectly acceptable. However they later produced a pipes and drums set of the Argylls which had the tenor drummers carrying side drums and the side drummers carrying tenors, which in no way was acceptable. Trooper

Valid points Trooper, as I said I was probably being petty. Learned some new things myself from your post though. Thanks
