Ducal figures (2 Viewers)

Hello,
I wanted to start a new thread bbecause I didn't find one dedicated to Ducal figures. I will post there some pictures about Ducal figures in my collection.

First one are of the a 27 pieces Mounted Band of the 16th Hussars. Pictures were taken some times ago with an old camera. Now that I'm better equipped I hope I'll find time to take better pictures.

Very nice, Ducal doesn't seem to be dicussed much. They really do have some very nice figures. The band that you have posted here, I think they are lancers though not hussars. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

You are totally right. They are the 16th Lancers. Sorry for the typing mistake.

Ducal makes some of thebest traditonal glossy toy soldiers. Their pipe bands are excellent and whenever I see one of their mounted bands, tempting better hide the credit cards..................

Hi Mardason,

That is a really great looking Lancers Band! I really enjoy the great detail and flash of the glossy paints. I have to say I wish they were more readily available here in the US but you do see them on ebay from time to time so I will probably acquire some of them that way. Do you have any other sets or singles? I know they make a pretty good looking Gurkha Band that I wish Britains would do too. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Yo Michel, well I did ask to see them, really miffed now are they not AWESOME Hussar Bands, and did you notice Troopers not a plate in site, they can stand on their own four legs. These have to be the best Mounted Bands I have seen. Its been a good week for this Trooper, first Rob (vandilay) puts his Imperial Cavalry up and now Michel comes up with these Bands, and Jeff's nearly finished the 10th Hussars. What I like about them as well is the Variety in colour of the horses, instead of them being all the same colour horse makes a great contrast, which is how they would have looked. I don't have to ask the cost, but they were not cheap, just ordered a Ducal Drum Horse myself at £31.00 and these are 27 piece Bands, not hard to work out is it guys. I was made up ordering a Drum Horse. Thanks Michel for showing them, get to work and put these in your own albums so we can look at them whenever we want, they are really special.

2. 16th The queens Lancers.
3. 12th Prince of Wales's Lancers.
4. 5th Royal Irish Lancers.
5. 21st Empress of India's Lancers.
6. 17th Duke of Cambridge's Own Lancers.
