OK, I feel foolish asking but just received my Desert Sherman and can't figure out where the little hopper thingy goes any help?

At the left rear of the tank deck, just behind (to the rear of ) the shovel, there is a small loop the pointy end of the hopper thingy slides into.

It's actually a British fuel funnel, one of the 2 types used in the desert and Italy. One was square with a short spout. We have the good rectangular one with a long, thin spout.

Take a look at the New releases page on "www.grey-goose.co.uk" and under the Desert Sherman go into the details there are a couple of photos showing the position of the fuel funnel.
