I found an old tacky ornament, and decided to give it a new lease of life, see below for the "before":-
Took a bit of work to get the glue unstuck, glass edges cleaned etc. I them cobbled together a base from an old plinth & a coffee jar lid, I was pleased with the results. I was thinking of painting the base Gold. See what you think:-
The glass was a little tight going into the base, so I was carefully scraping some glue spots, then . . .
Yup - it's cracked!
