Forum Members,
Just completed a buyer's survey initiated by e-Bay. For whatever it is worth (probably should have consulted with Don Quixote), at an appropriate 'window of opportunity' I injected the following mosquito into their ointment; "Have authored 4 guides providing detailed information on how to avoid fraudulent dealers, items/descriptions. Used to be able to at least directly convey warning information to bidders/prospective bidders. I CAN NO LONGER DO THIS! Am on several forums where a lot of other people have voiced this same complaint. Would seem e-Bay's only objective is the bottom line, certainly not bidder protection in this specific area."

For those who may not immediately understand the relevance of this issue to toy soldiers, if interested you can read my e-Bay guides; http://reviews.ebay.com/Collecting-W-Britains-Toy-Soldiers-Part-I_W0QQugidZ10000000004502679, or web site; http://www.arnhemjim.blogspot.com.

As a semi-skilled professional you will notice that I was totally circumspect in not naming any specific forums. Take that you nasty windmill!

You're wasting your time.

I have never seen anything I've raised as a concern ever addressed after taking one of those eBay surveys.

I don't understand why they even use them but I'd sure love to have been the sales rep who sold them the survey software.
