Check the following item number currently at auction on e-Bay. Item number 150452907062. Being offered for sale in a righteous W. Britains box (Armies of the World) Set No.1902 Union of South Africa Defence Forces (extremely rare) is the actual Set No.1900 Regiment Louw Wepener (not quite as rare). The bidding is already very active. I will be very curious to see how the offering ends up.

Well the correct soldiers should be in khaki uniforms.
It could be honest mistake, happens all the time. You just need to write a seller about it...

According to Wallis the correct uniforms are described as 'sand coloured khaki', i.e. light tan. See 'Armies of the World', pp.278-279. Already sent a note to the seller. You are correct, most of the time it is merely an 'honest mistake', other times I don't think so.

Re the ebay offeringI know this vendor and have always found her to be totally trustworthy, she and her partner were long time toy soldier show attendees, some of the items that become available are from her partners collection,he is incapacitated and she may offer items from time to time as funds are needed. Genuine mistake in my opinion, however contact the lady she is very gracious and either way this may be a very good investment ,if only for the box.
