Marco55,

If you are waiting around for a BM-01 or BM-06 to come up for less than the current bids on these two sets of $150 odd and $140 odd you will be waiting a long time.

I would be very surprised if the BM-01 does not go for $200 to $250 and the BM-06 for $175 to $200, if not more.

There were only 250 sets made of each set.

I don't follow JJ prices (only K & C) but I recall a couple of months ago that a BM 01 went for around $500.

I know I'll probably never get them but I didn't think I'd get the French sets but I did and I also got QR-01.

Brad,

That was a BM-03 that went for $500, I sold it and I was surprised myself.

The last couple of BM-01 have gone for around $250 each and the last BM-06 went for $185.

Mark,

Yes the FM's have have been going for a reasonable price lately.

Approx double there starting retail price $120 to $140.

The QR-01's have never really gone up much even though there is only 135 set of them.

The prices tend to go up only after the dealers are sold out. I have seen FM sets in the Gettysburg shop until very recently. They still had a FM-04 as of a couple weeks ago and QR-01 is still available.

The early BM's must be very popular for the prices they are going.I would give perhaps a couple of hundred dollars for a couple of the sets but not right now.I just filled the old fuel tank up.I would never give $500.00 for one but i guess it depends on one's desire for something and your bank account.I'm sure there will be some more Brits in the future.

Somebody has the snowshoes range on ebay real cheap at this point. All except the christmas set.

I really believe we are going to have several "NEW" BM Grend Sets in our future to make up for the fast selling BM-01. I am sure JJ knows there is a great demand out there for these figures and they will sell very well.

Hang on - more to come ;)

Funny that I can remember the early JJ sets sitting on the shelf for a long, long time when they came out. The first three BM sets in particular. Then suddenly they caught on and disappeared in a flash. Now they are getting top dollar on ebay. I've always bought them because I liked them, but it's fascinating to see how the collecting trends play out.
