If i did not know better I would have thought the Heid had gone Italian on us with that spelling - except Heids grammar is better!

Slow day Harry?

Well, I could claim my spellchecker was faulty, but I guess that won't wash. Still, it seems to work though. Andy seems to have paid attention to at least some of the constant demands that are posted in this section.

PS. My latest order turned up in my company's South China office. I'll catch a ferry over to Shenzhen tomorrow to collect it. Thanks for the excellent service. I'll be placing yet another order soon, now that I know the postal service works. I'll be having this one sent to our Bangkok office this time.

PPS. I'm presently in Hong kong, so I'll be visiting the K&C shop in around one hour from now. "Credit Card, Credit Card, Burning Bright" with apologies to Rudyard Kipling. I'll see if it's okay to visit Fanny Luk and the rest of Andy's gang while I'm at it.

Best Regards

Question is would early Pacific be more popular than the US Marines we have now?.Not sure they would.

There's a wealth of different uniforms/nationalities/scenarios/locations to choose from with an early Pacific/Asian range. Army/Navy/Airmen/Marines/Brits/Indians/Americans/Dutch/Civvies/Japanese/Koreans/Chinese/Malays/Burmese/Aussies, and so on. (Shirtless if absolutely necessary....:D:D:D).
The Iwo Jima range is too limited IMO - and I think that's why it doesn't sell so good despite the excellent sculpting and painting. I had a really long look at all the Japanese figures on Thursday afternoon. They are really good figures and they are on my radar screen for buying at the end of March, but the range needs to be expanded to include off-duty figures as well as the presently available full-on action ones. The General whats-his-name figure is crying out for some supporting figures sitting/standing with him, eating a bowl of rice/drinking tea or saki/discussing a map on a table, etc.
For more action poses, K&C could do worse than to use the old Airfix 1/72 and 1/32 plastic figures as an inspiration.
Cheers

There are collectors on the wings waiting for "Early Pacific" (this will include Yanks of the USAFFE, Brits, Ausies & Kiwis) series. It may not be popular in the U.S. but in Asia, specifically the Philippines, Singapore, Burma, Australia, New Zealand. Attached are some pictures. If Andy doesn't pick-up the opportunity, maybe Rick will in FM30 format.
