Hello Rick
Do you think you will be doing more Russian tanks or artillery in the near future
This JS2 is a must have along with other russian stuff
Best Regards Scott

Count me in on this one..........artillery, yes please.

Brian

I hope the JS2 is not a "one off". I'd be nice to see a series of releases with some depth for the Soviets. Now that K&C have abandoned this campaign perhaps its ripe for the picking for Figarti to move into the void thats been created.

Cheers
CFM :)

I don't know guys . . . if the JS2 sells out quickly, I bet you will see some other eastern front tanks in the coming months . . . so put your money where your mouth is.;)

Hi brian,
Only those credit notes in a nice blue hue with a picture of H.M. Queen Elizabeth on them. Usually in multiples.:)

I hope this isnt a one off either the JS2 looks amazing :D
Would love to see other Russian equipment being made the Figarti way:cool::cool:
Regards Scott

Andy did a T34 and the older SU85 (RA05)

An ISU 152 would be a nice partner to start with, those Berlin defenders are sweating a little now..............Animal Killer

I think Figarti would make excellent su85+t34 i have the old k+c sets ,they might be a bit rough but they are 2 of my favourite tanks
What about a Russian Sherman
Regards Scott

What mark of sherman did the Russians have
Would it be easy for Rick to repaint any of the sets previously brought out
Sorry Rick ,just like seeing Russian armour as noone else does it :D

Here is a chart which shows which model went where:

Lend_Lease_M3_M4.jpg

Looks like all the Shermans sent to Russia were M4A2 models, half with the 75 mm gun and half with the 76 mm gun and wet storage. About 4,000 M4s in total which sounds like a lot, but are small numbers compared to the 50,000+ T-34s the Russians produced.

I am curious about where they were used and how well they did.

I think the Russians & USMC shared the same M4A2/75. The question would be to Sherman experts...were the M4A2 75 & 76 the same chassis? For example, could Figarti make a USMC M4A2/75 & swap out a turret for a USSR M4A2/76? Could make it viable

Reading the reviews for the above book, it seems as though the Reds liked the Sherman which brings up another curiosity. I've also read from Russian books that they similarly liked the Valentine. Were they doing something right that we were doing wrong?
