A very good film that is now playing on Cinemax. It has been out on DVD for a while in the US. If you like the Sopranoes, you will probably like this one. Russian mafia in London. Great acting. The story fizzles out a bit, but otherwise almost as good as "No Country for Old Men."

I really enjoyed No Country for Old Men, especially the way the director ended the movie.

I had such high expectations for this movie. It starts out good but like you said the ending kinda "fizzles out". I didn't like the ending at all and I walked away from it wanting to see alot more.

This movie was really good. My father-in-law told me about it and I kinda put it on the back burner to watch. When I finally watched it I was surprised how good it was.

I actually though No Country for Old Men ok (well acted, obviously) but not an earth shaker. On the other hand, I thought Eastern Promises was excellent, with great insight into the Russian mafia. These are people you don't want to cross. Make the Cosa Nostra look like tame by comparison.

"You can discover what your enemy fears most by observing the means he uses to freighten you; Eric Hoffer"

I guess I'm just a little biased since I have seen alot and know alot about how criminal and terror organizations work. This movie had so much potential and I just thought it fell a little short. There is so much that could have been added that could have taken this movie from being a good movie to an excellent one. Don't get me wrong I liked it but one time is enough. With that said "No country for Old Men" was the same, I liked it but once was enough. I probably took it a little to far in my earlier post it was good not "really good."
