Ebay is at it again! (1 Viewer)

I don't think it will be easy for the Treefrog site and, in all honesty, if I'm looking to sell something, I want a site where the most people see it so I can maximize what I'm selling. Right now, whether you like it or not, that's ebay. I'm not aware of any other site where I can go for that. If the Treefrog site grabs the attention and the audience, then I'll go there. Sorry Pete, but just like with retailers and sellers, it's dollars and cents and usually those dollars and cents are going back to you and George :)

The thread started about ebay and really got deep about the USPS.It's hard to keep a thread straight and true as there are a lot of connected issues usually with any topic.

Very true Mark. That is the way we think so changes in direction are the rule, not the exception. Certainly here it was a natural progression from one to the other and back again.

How about we spread the word. A lot of us are members of other forums so we can mention the auction site which would help the sales of the members here.

It sounds to me as if the TF auction site will work somewhat like the current "Classifieds" do now, just in an auction format.

Given TF will not charge listing fees, it wont cost the seller anything to post items for sale. If the item sells at or above the price desired, no problem. If not, then just move it over to ebay, hope for better luck, no harm no foul.

So, much like it does now, ebay will serve as a "back-up" site when items do not sell on TF.

This assumes there is no urgency as to the sale, of course.
