eBAY - K & C, JJD, TGM, FL (1 Viewer)

Was having a look round ebay for Toy soldiers and was amazed there were close to 7500 K & C items for sale in the UK from UK sellers. 1300 appro TGM, less than 90 JJD and just over 800 FL.

I had a bit of a check round,
There is never a large amount of JJD on UK ebay [sold by UK ebayer], i have a regular search set up in my ebay favourites and check every couple of days, for example, today June 13th 2022 at 19.31 [UK time] there are 84 JJD sets on ebay. I collect JJD Aztecs, Saxons/Vikings, Rome's Enemies, Almoravids, Trojan War, WW2 [some] and WW1 aircrews, which work well with my T Gunn planes.

I mainly get them from Grey Goose in UK and TSRARE in Italy, but have bought from the US for pieces that were rare. I am hoping to visit the Chicago show in 2022 for the first time, have started to look through the costs and will be looking at a $4 to $5 thousand budget as there are loads of JJD [and others] i want. JJD, as with K & C, are the same £ to $ price in the UK so i am hoping to pick up some bargains.

At the same time there were 5247 K& C sets and 1484 Thomas Gunn Sets.

This is not me being critical, just looking at the amounts on there, i think JJD are currently releasing, and have been for the past 2 to 3 years, the best soldiers and sets. I am looking forward to the new series.

I do not know why there are fewer JJD sets, possibly fewer JJD collectors or like me once you have bought them you do not want to sell on as they are excellent.


On the US amounts, obviously bigger [and most important] TS market in the world, but how does that amount compare with K & C and FL?
