eBay-KC Auction, "Something smells funny here" (1 Viewer)

I tend to distrust auctions coming from China generally and somebody with no feedback, no thanks. I'm curious as to how you found this as there is no category listed and it says in the bottom "there are no available payment to your country. Please do not bid on this item."

Dear Carlos,

Beyond smelling funny, this is an attempt to defraud someone. Both the auctions you list have the same 12 pictures and same word for word item description from the following auction by an eBay power seller:

http://cgi.ebay.com/KING-COUNTRY-WS...22QQihZ012QQcategoryZ2634QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Both "sellers" have zero feedback, and I think most experienced eBayers will know to be careful when they see this.

However, if you look at the "Payment methods accepted" section, it states: "There are no available payment methods in your country. Please do not bid on this item." These "sellers" appear to have been tripped up by the eBay payment procedures.

I would not bid on these items.:(

I just did a search on Ebay China (not that I can read Chinese) and the same auctions, plus one for the Rommel Staff car, show up. The Rommel Staff car has the same photos as the one for Pat Velzka's item that just ended.

Avoid this auction. It is out and out fraud!

That's what I thought guys. Thanks.

Man, there were all kinds of alarm bells ringing in my head on this one.

I guess it's true, "if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't true".

Carlos

Just sent a note to E-bay customer support alerting them of possible fraudulent transaction. I see red flags (pardon the pun) all over it.
