I have just been listing some items on eBay (waiting for the Treefrog system to be up and running).

I just notice when you list an item and as soon as the item is listed jump back into the listing, I get between 2 to 4 page view reads on the little counter that come with all listings.

It only takes me 5 seconds at maximum to jump into the listing.

How then can I have 2 to 4 people already viewed my listing in less than 5 second.

Now I am not saying eBay are a bunch of lieing, cheating A#! H$%# (or am I) but someone is fiddling the books here and it is not me.

At the end of listing when given the chance to preview, did you preview? If so, that counts as well. Due to the shear number of folks looking at listings it may be possible for others to stumble on a new listing in a few seconds.

I have on two occasions sold an item that sold in ~15 seconds.

Maybe the daily e-mailed Search results are opened instantly somewhere in the world by folks?
