I received my Egypt Order today and they are VERY nice...It's a breath of fresh air opening a line that doesn't have to do with War. Don't get me wrong I love the Conflict Lines but it's interresting to receive a second line of K&C especially when it has to do with humans working together to create something rather than destroy it. I have a smaller second Order in the works of the Egypt Line.

Cheers
WELLINGTON...:)

I feel the same way about my Streets of Hong Kong stuff. It is nice to be able to display something commemorating humans participating in constructive rather than violent activities.

Hi Wellington,

I am very glad you like your Egyptians, especially since I was one of the people to recommend them to you. I, too, love these special figures and I become somewhat enchanted with the Ancient Egyptian culture, technology, religion, and art. I find that visitors to my home study these particular figures more than most of the other figures I own. The exception might be my St. Petersburg figures, which are truly works of art.

When you get the time, I would be interested to know exactly what Egyptian figures you presently have, what additional figures you have ordered, and how you have displayed them. In the meantime, enjoy your new collecting interest! A guy can always use a break from the intensity of the Napoleonic Wars! ;)

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

I have all the statues (pharaohs statutes, king tut head, temple facade, pair of sphnx etc), wrapping mummy set, hunter set, hunting party, scaffolding, stone carvers, painters, painting the mummy, egypt guards standing, pharaohs chair and the fan bearers, I have ordered the chariot, marching guards and architects as well as the royal mascot. Then I will start on some of the Banquet sets. I have not displayed them as I do not have the room I may just buy a cabinet and put them in the basement for now as I intend at some point to finish the base ment....... Sooner than later now...it should motivate me.

Cheers

Wellington,

It sounds to me like you are going for the entire Ancient Egyptian line. Good for you! I am certain you will enjoy the line and having the Egyptians will add an interesting viewing alternative to the great Napoleonics you are collecting!

However, I would add one word of caution. Once you begin to diversify your collection, there may be no end to what you begin to collect! Prehaps you are now truly entering the dark side! Ain't it fun? :D

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Pat........I hope you are VERY wrong...you could scare a man into hiding......;)

Wellington,

Come back from the dark side. You must put all or most of your money into Napoleonics. After all the French did defeat the Egyptions.

Have a Happy New Year,
Old Guard

Wellington,

It helps if you view your collection as maturing and expanding. To mature and expand is normal, healthy, and intelligent behavior. :D ;)

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

EXPANDING INTO WHAT ........THATS WHAT I'M AFRAID OF.......

Wellington,

Let the force be your guide! It is an adventure that you will both enjoy and survive! Well,.........I am fairly certain about the enjoy part.........However, I am not so sure about that survive part. :)

Warmest personal regards,

Pat ;)
