The Honor Temples (German: Ehrentempel) were two structures in Munich, erected by the Nazis in 1935, housing the sarcophagi of the sixteen members of the party who had been killed in the failed Beer hall putsch (the Blutzeugen, "blood witnesses"). On January 9, 1947 the main architectural features of the temples were destroyed by the U.S. Army as part of denazification.

I made this temple inspired by the real one with a polystyrene box, some pieces of a fruit box, stucco, paint.

It's just like the real thing.great effort !!! I love the materials you used . My motto is also: "think twice before you throw anything away, you might just need it sometime"

Thank you, Guy :salute:: I wish I had only a part of your skill in painting and in building a dio.It is interesting to learn by yourself how to do a structure and solve the problems...:)

What is the badge on his chest (the laurel wreath, sword and swastika)? The Nazi era Parachutist (pocket/breast) badge was slightly modified to become the current Fallschirmjager beret badge, this one bears striking resemblance to the Kommandospezialkraft (KSK, Special Forces) beret badge. Obviously the swastikas are missing from the current insignia.

ATW!
