Here's another interesting figure.

As the figure was too shallow when viewed sideways, I decided to resculpt the cloak to give the figure more bulk. I also drilled out and removed the lower part of the cloak to resculpt it billowing slightly.

Encouraged by my redux of the Andrea Roman Centurion bust, I've started to repaint this piece.

Spent the morning painting and the Centurion was one of the figures.

WIP. To do the groundwork now.

Did a minor touchup with putty on the cloak.

 

[blaster]

Finally added groundwork and grass foliage to the figure. Will wait for it to dry out before I start to shade it. I also did the same for a few other figures.

Adding foliage is messy. You need to sprinkle and scatter all the bits of vegetation onto white glue.

I finished the groundwork. That's it for this piece except to label it.
