At the London Toy Soldier Show today I picked up the US Ranger 2003 figure and very impressive it is, well up to the standard of previous releases. This series does n't get much of a mention in this forum, which is a pity as they are excellent figures and I certainly hope Britains continues to develop the series in the coming year.

Agree with Graycap. I picked up a couple from George (Minuteman) yesterday at The Annandale Show and they are really nice . The U.S. Special Forces Soldier looks like a replica of The SF Statue at The John F. Kennedy Center at Ft. Bragg. Regards, Larry.

I agree gents. My wife got me the modern Ranger over Labor Day weekend for my birthday, he is excellent. Will consider the Viet Nam SF Trooper to see if they open a Nam Range up, I don't really collect one-offs.

Did you guys see the Modern Stretcher set from Afghanistan? Super!! If so, Larry was it for sale this weekend? Last I spoke to Richard, he said it would be available real soon.

CC, Spoke with Richard W, and he said it was about 10 days away.

I've also got the "Help for Heroes" stretcher set on order. A Britains rep said that they would be released in the next week or so. Not long to wait. I would also like to see more contemporary figures, particular British and American. Hopefully Britains will oblige.

Some insurgents, Taliban or Al Qaida would be welcome. Even some Iraqi Republican guard.....
