Hi Everyone,

The first paint masters arrived with me this weekend for the ECW Cavalry items due for release in February and March so, this being Sunday, I had a little play with them to check how they will look etc.

Here are some images I can share with you. The web site should be updated next week with the new images.

I hope you like our next sculpts, lots more to follow. As always, feedback is appreciated. :salute::

Hi Mark,

Many thanks for that kind comment, good to know you like them.

Until we get chance to put one side by side so to speak I cannot say 100% how they will look. What I can say though is that I will collect K&C's as well as my own and also that when we were at the London Show, Andy and I had a good chat about complimenting each others range and he was enthused to see what we had done.

With us only producing 100 ever of a piece and having each one certificated, we are not in the world wide market as much as K&C and I doubt I will ever take the company to that size. As a result, Andy and I will continue to talk (I hope!) and compliment each other. I have already declared I will not produce artillery this year nor any pikemen that comflict / compete with Andy. I just feel that is better for the collector, for us and for relationships overall.

Hope that answers the question for now. Once I can put some pieces together I will do and make images available.

Best wishes,

Malcolm.

I know this is a wee bit off topic, but are there any plans to set something up with international dealers? The nice thing about K&C, JJD, WB, and Tradition, amongst others, is that they have dealers, which allows me to pick up their products in Canada without having to pay foreign sales tax, import duties, and Canadian sales tax.
Cheers,
Brendan

Hi Brendan,

At this very early stage, we do not have any plans involving retailers. This may well develop as the company grows and develops of course but, for now, we are handling all worldwide sales ourselves via our web site www.empiremm.co.uk

Having investigated this question a little, I can tell you that for export, I will not be charging you UK tax or import duty to Canada as long as I use the correct commodity code, so all you will pay is local tax, as you would at a retailers premises :)

Hopefully that helps and, of course, entices you :)

Best regards,

Malcolm. :salute::
