Thanks for your comment. Truth is I'm not sure exactly what period in Jewish history they represent. Engineer Basevich the manufacturer tends to include some "Character figures" in most of his sets and I assumed the King to be David.An interesting grouping,very well painted.I see a king,a priest,a woman(queen,princess/) and seven soldiers.Are they meant to King David's period or a later period-during the time when the kingdom was divided.I see a bit of Assyrian influence in the weapons etc. which would suggest the latter.If so,the star of David on the shields would suggest the southern kingdom i.e. Judah.

Love these pix and the paint job. Well done, sir.
The six-sided Star of David would suggest either David or Solomon; I lean toward Solomon because I would have put David, the Warrior-King in an action pose. But it could be an older, mature David pointing his troops into action.
The woman then, which of David's wives would it be? Bathsheba? Michal? or... Hmmm... Solomon had more than a thousand - so a lot of room for duplicate figures there...
