Came out the last day of 2014, one of the last set of the Russian manufacturer Engineer Bassevitch concerning the Cuban Revolution (with Fidel Castro and Ernesto "Che" Guevarra.

Happy new year from France:salute::

I wonder if I could use these figures as WWII *TITO'S PARTISANS?
I would expect to have to make some small changes of course.

Plastic General

I personally think Engineer Bassevitch currently do the best plastic figures being done today. But I have no idea how I would use there last 3 sets? Would the ancient Jewish set work with TSSD Romans? The one set made in regards to some Russian childrens book and the Cuban set, don,t have the vaguest idea what I would do with them.

They're so nice, I would feel guilty converting them into TITO'S partisans.
Good point Gary, who would I put the Cubans up against?
I would put the Hebrews up against the TSSD Romans for sure!

In the end I get the ENGINEERS business model:
* High quality
* Low production run
* Cool niche subjects
* High price to fund the next project

Makes sense to me. Just make them easy to buy here in the west.

I talked to Steve Weston, the plastics dealer in the UK. He always seems to be one of the first to get these EB sets. He told me just email him with your phone number, he will call you back to get your credit card info and then sell you the sets. That,s the route I,m going to take next time an EB set to my likeing comes out.
The problem with the EB sets is they are rather expensive for plastic so unless I have a definate need I won,t "just buy them" to be buying.
