I think this would be an interesting period ... great mix of cavalry and canon

Infantry would be interesting because of pike / sword / musket combinations

What do you think?

I would certainbly be interested -- maybe a crossover ECW/30-Years War series -- as the unifoms and equipment would be largely the same.

Probably wouldn't be commercially viable thouogh.

This could be interesting and colorful. I have a set of Gerard's Bluecoats done by Kinsmen in gloss many years ago. Pikes, muskets, colorful flag. Would be a very different series. -- lancer

Elastolin has figures in its line, for the Thirty Years' War, which can pass for English Civil War troops, I think they sell well enough on the Continent, but not sure of real numbers.

Tradition also has some English Civil War figures in its toy soldier catalog, available painted or as kits, I think.

Beyond those, I don't know who else has done any. You might have to go back to the classic toy soldier makers. I seem to recall seeing someone's figures in O'Brien's book, I'll have to look it up.

Prost!
