So, given that East is arguably (to you guys:D) the best ancients producer out there- should they tackle Troy??

I say they steer clear of it for now. It would be neat to see what they could whip up but with the slowed pace of their Greek entrants, it may be asking too much.

What do you guys think- what possible EoI line should be next??

Chris, you flatter me! I tell you these stealth techniques still don't work for discounts. ;)

Yes if anyone would like to put their input here then I would be more than interested to check out your opinions.

We are pretty busy on our new range at this moment and also adding to existing ones but of course there is always next year and the year after etc etc.

Thr Trojan War gets my vote. Plenty of personalities there.

Cheers

I posted that with you in mind Harry- couple other fellas around here too have mentioned Trojan war and a certain other company doing it- I still think it falls in EoI's range of expertise moreso than anyone elses.

I see Trojan War as a very plausible EoI future release.

Harry and Chris,

Yes this period certainly has a awful lot of famous personalties involved: In fact its almost like the "who's who's" of ancient Greece! Whereas the period we currently cover, depicting the battle of Marathon and the like, has of course personalties but they are not "household names" as such compared with those who took part on both sides in the Trojan wars.

I will give this some serious thought.

Sounds great- though me personally, I will gobble up the Romans far quicker than anyone from Troy.

Just make sure you cover any potential "personal image" issues- wouldn't want to see you get sunk for making a Brad Pitt Achilles :D

After all, those Bronze Age persons are rather protective of their names and images- it has only been 3,000+ years since then.:p

If you still with the bronze age persons, you will be fine; its the Hollywood ones you have to watch out far. I would like a Pitt Achilles however:D

I am pretty certain you are OK having a figure with the same facial features as Brad Pitt, well a few manufacturers have been getting away with this for years, especially those in Spain!

Printing Brad Pitt over over the box and the base of the figure; well that's another matter!
