Well, I'd like to introduce the newest and finest piece in my TS collection. The new Fokker is superlative. A stunning piece and better than my photography allows.

John seems especially proud of this piece and you can see why.

I'd certainly recommend this piece without reservation.

THAT'S SWEET LOOKIN', VICKNOR!

Like the cooling grill on the nose.:cool:

Still not for sale on North America, I'm afraid.:redface2:
Thanks for posting,:salute::

Believe this one was brought straight from the factory although I've just seen pictures of the London Show and they seem to be on sale there.

It's a beauty. The detailing inside the cockpit and the engine block is just fantastic. John's best piece of ANYTHING so far

Congratulations on the addition of such a gorgeous aircraft. Have to agree that it is certainly the best looking piece JJD has done so far and that's saying a lot considering how well the Luke and Guynemer Spads have been done and the superlative SE-5, which really is a masterpiece. The new Fokkers will be a centerpiece to anyone's aviation collection. Still have to wait for mine, but I eagerly anticipate it. -- Al

Hi Vicknor,
Where did you see the pictures from the London Show?

I was there today and unexpectedly picked up my DVII. As you say the detail is exceptional...It is definitely a beauty as you say. The most detailed engine to date, much more detailed than the Goring DVII (Ace-09)

There was also an unpainted prototype DH2 on display.....ONE TO WATCH for sure. I didn't have a camera with me, but I'm sure somebody else will be posting pictures soon!

Congratulations on your acquisition, Pete. Which version did you get, black stripes or red? Great news about the DH-2, as well. Glad to see John has gotten to it. Hoping for a Hawker version, or Andrews. -- Al

Hi Al,
I went for the red striped version. Very colourful indeed. It is also much lighter in weight than the Goring model by the way.

The red striped version is very attractive. Very interesting that it is lighter than the Goering version, which is quite hefty. -- Al

Hi Pete,

A friend from this forum passed on photos that had been passed to them. The London show looked great and plenty of JJD on display including the two new versions of the Fokker DVII
