Hello all. I was commissioned to repaint the Desert 222 into Panzer grey for use with the Waffen sets in ETO. Let me know what you think! :)

Hey, that's pretty darn good. I'm impressed. How much do you charge? Might want to do the same thing myself. Plus that looks like part of a pretty interesting diorama. Any chance you can post the whole thing.

Do you repaint the whole vehicle or do you mask off the wheels, stowage, etc.

Very nice. I bought a loose one to do a repaint in either gray or camo. I think you gave me the push to finally do it.

Alex,

I don't repaint the whole thing but I don't mask off either because you have to get up nice and close to all the "extras" on the piece. A fine brush and a steady hand to paint around everything. The 222 was the hardest one I have done because of all the extras hanging on it and the fact that it has wheels and not tracks. Tracks are easier.
