Every year I make a pact to stop purchasing the Winter battle of the Bulge range in order to concentrate on Arnhem and retired pieces, but every year Andy brings some more spectacular pieces out for the Winter range, and every year I just have to have them!

I'm going to skip the chance to get a few retired Arnhem 44 sets and instead I am going to go for the new halftrack, gun and crews, and MP on Motorcycle!

Today I ordered the last remaining set of BBA01 from King and Country UK!

At £66.00 too amazing to let slip!

I already have about 20 other Battle of the Bulge American Sets looking for some reinforcements!

My Germans also need reinforcements however, so Steyr Truck and German tank may be on the books too!

Deffinetly the single standing German with rocket!
And set of two germans!
And lying prone machine gunner!

Can anyone comment on the latest King Tiger?
Is it a monster? Worth the price? Does it go well in a diorama?

I just got my King Tiger. It looks great, IMO!. You can see in my pictures below how it compares to others in the range. Tank riders are on the way!

It is a nice looking BEAST!!! Its the 1st time I have actually seen it next to another vehicle I new it was big just not that BIG!!!

It is big, noticably bigger than their earlier King Tiger. But it was ones like that that couldn't get across some of the small bridges in the Ardennes during the Bulge. Along with the Elefant, they are the 2 biggest AFVs I have.

Would you say its worth the money then Terry? I think its a must have for any WW2 collection its just working out were to put it

I think it is a piece a collector of German AFVs should consider. I think it is well done and it represents the peak of WW2 tank size for a production vehicle so it is historically important. I think it was worth the money. And the camo pattern is my favourite - 3 colour ambush pattern. It could even be used in a late war Eastern Front display against a JS2 - if you have the room.
