Totally different. I don’t mind a bit of fantasy and you have delivered Rob. Robin.

Nice one Rob 👍🏻
Hopefully TG will do a Minotaur as awesome. Maybe they'll do an Ariadne as well and offering a clothed version as well as the obligatory naked one !🙂

Amazing scene, using stone for our pieces seems stunning to me and we have to do this more often, Kudos Rob!!

Living literally at the town that this event occur ( Labyrinth, actually the Palace of Knossos that was the Labyrinth itself is my hometown ).
What is the story with Minotaure here? Any known maker or you have done this figure yourself, I won;t be suprised if you did though!

I second the Ariadne figure also as Theseus, coz Thomas Gunn started well with the Greek myths and by the way, tities out on Ariadne dress wasnt any kind of naked back then, women had their breasts out of the dress like this as a proud mark of fertility and maternity, these phenomena was of high respect in Minoan society in ancient Crete.

Well done once more Rob, I like the diorama very very much!!

Thanks Emanuel. Appreciate the nice comments and glad you like the scene. How cool to live in a place filled with rich and ancient history.
The Minotaur is made by Del Prado; may even still be available.

Here's a better shot to see the Minotaur. Horus (Steve) made a few impressive scenes with it as well.

I've truly enjoyed TG's Greek theme with the exquisite shields of the soldiers. I don't own many having started collecting late, but have had a lot of fun creating different scenes.

A few:

Like this one Rob, I even remembered to include Ariadne's Thread in it, the heads, skull in particular are a bit dodgy as home made !

That's the one, Steve. I think the sand works really well in your scene. When I first saw this, I thought to myself, "have to get one of those Minotaurs".
TG's Ancient Greeks are exquisite figures and I would love to see some future pieces. The last figure(s) was the Medusa set. Possibilities for many more.
I've had a lot of fun with these figures but must admit that I am running out of ideas for scenes.
