All,

For Christmas I received two JJ calenders...I only need/want one. If anyone needs one just ask and I'll send it for the cost of the postage.

Pm or email me at Rstuhrke@aol.com

And the calender is awesome!

Mike,
Back on Dec 6th, you started a thread on the John Jenkins 2010 calendar. Shannon replied:

"Treefrog is listening boys...we'll see what we can do .

As for the calendars...they were in shorter supply this year than last year. Dealers were alloted one for each collector club membership they managed. So if you are a collector club member your dealer probably has one earmarked for you."

My question / comment is that I take it 2010 is not the first year that a John Jenkins calendar has been produced?

John...

I think Shannon's comment was more directed towards a John Jenkins catalog...

but I may be wrong...

the topic of the thread kind of shifted from calendars to catalogues...

but again...as I remember...she was referring to a catalogue for quick references...

but again I may be wrong...

to address your question...

I am a relatively new Jenkins collector...

I know that this is at least his second calendar...

because I own a 2009...which of course has expired...

I have an extra 2009 calendar that I never used...still in the plastic sleeve...if anybody wants it for any reason...even though it's outdated...I would be happy to send it to them...

as far as the 2010 calendars go...I only bought 1 set of Lt.Jenkins and got 10 calendars...I have mailed off 4 to people that have requested them...if anybody didn't get one for any reason...and if you live in the United States so the shipping won't be too bad for me...I will mail you one if you need one.

We haven't always carried John Jenkins so I don't know if he made calendars before 2008.
As far as the online resource for John Jenkins...it's in the works. We've got some major website changes coming up and that project is involved. We'll keep you posted!
Regards,

Thank you, Shannon, for your reply. Along with many others, I too am a relative newcomer (Nov / Dec, 2008) to collecting John Jenkins figures. I had initially thought the 2010 calendar (which is very nicely done) was the first calendar involving his work. As time goes on and as appreciation for his work as an artist grows, there will most likely also be a demand for any of his work (sketches, paintings, catalogs, etc) besides his wonderful figures.

Shannon...thanks for clearing that up...I couldn't remember in reference if you were referring to the catalogs or calendars when you made that comment..."Treefrog is listening boys...we'll see what we can do" .
