Posted this on the John Jenkins Designs section but figured I would here as well. This is a diorama I made for the John Jenkins Designs F4F-3 Wildcat in prewar colors.
Deck was made from a Thomas Gunn WWII carrier deck mat, and repainted in a Vallejo mahogany brown to replicate the Wasp deck. Figure bases were changed to this color as well. Deck lines are flat yellow also from Vallejo with an overcoat of semi-gloss to add some reflectiveness to the color.
Figures are from the InterWar series from John Jenkins, some accessories come from the Knights of the Skies mechanic sets from John Jenkins Designs
Wasp was one of the first carriers to get the Wildcats in December 1940.
