This sure wouldn't fool anyone here, but those aren't even close to Imperials.

I sent seller an email in case he/she is just mistaken as opposed to fraudulant. It does look like an Imperial box.

Edit: Seller has another set that does appear to be legitimately Imperial in origin, but there is something up with the box (or a bad pic)

Hi Drum

The first set looks like a set of Steadfast or something along those lines. Not Imperial for sure. The second set is the 17th Lancers set that appears to have had the strings cut and the put bubble wrap in the box to keep the soldiers from moving.

Have a good one

I have gotta go and check our boxes, but I could swear that the picture-backed boxes have a photo credit or something in the lower left corner of the pic. If I recall correctly, they look something like that white streak in that same spot in the pic of the Lancers in the box. It is barely perceptible under the bubble wrap.

I contacted this seller, an antiques dealer, when this first appeared on eBay. I am working with her to help her correctly identify the sets she was trying to sell. Many of her toy soldiers are in the wrong boxes and/or are incorrectly identified.

The first set is actually from Authenticast; the figures are marked Eire on the bottom. The second set, the 17th Lancers, never came tied originally and is both Imperial set No. 39 and set No. 40 combined. The bottom of the box is from set No. 8 Ekatahuna Mounted Rifles with the photo backdrop. These should, plus the others, all appear correctly within 24 hours with the proper identies and boxes.
