FALL-IN convention show this weekend Lancaster PA (1 Viewer)

I just added it to the calendar, too.

Please note that though the convention opens Thursday evening, the exhibitor area and flea market don't open till Friday. Also, the exhibitor area and flea market do not have the same open hours.

If you've never been to the HMGS' shows (Historicon, Fall-In, Cold Wars), I recommend them. Though the focus is on wargames and gaming, some of your favorite toy soldier vendors are represented in the exhibitor area. And in the flea market area, you may find things for your favorite area, because often, a wargamer will work in a particular subject, then move on to another, and sell his books, references, etc, from the old subject.

Prost!

I'll be there setting up on Thursday, open for business at noon on Friday, one of my favorite shows, liked it a lot better when it was the weekend after Hackensack and in Gettysburg as I used it as a mini vacation, but I still enjoy going as it is in effect my OTSN, many vendors there sell the smaller scale items that I collect, plus my favorite book dealer Dennis from OMM is there and always has something new I am interested in.

As Brad points out, the flea market is a great place to find stuff for short money, mostly books, some toy soldiers thrown into the mix as well, the hunt is half the fun..........

The irony is, having made my pitch, I won't be able to make it, George! These shows always sneak up on me, schedule-wise. I'm doing lighting for a play that opens next week, and this weekend we'll be working to wrap up the technical work.

Lancaster is a great location, especially for the diners that are all around the hotel. Not only is the show great, but there's great comfort food to be had.

Prost!
