What happened to the new Redcoat-Bluecoat French & Indian War figures from the 15th and 60th Foot that have been shown at recent toy soldier shows? There is no listing for them on the WB site yet?

i was also wondering if there would be any new redcoats or FIW releases in the new catalogue?

Yeah---I was looking for them first and foremost. I saw them at the Wilmington show last month and heard that they were coming out soon. I hope there is a mistake on the WB website and that they'll put them up with a quick release date.

Perhaps they are saving some surprises for when the catalgoue is released.

Yes that's the case: August catalog but they will be previewed in an upcoming issue of Toy Soldier & Model Figure--a special issue devoted to the French & Indian War. Some have actually been on display at the shows this year.

I am feeling a little happier now. At which shows have they been on display? Haven't noticed any photos here on the forum. The only new ones I have noticed are the 45th foot group figures under Redcoats at Britains website. Frankly, these group poses do not thrill me because they are mostly a repeat of some poses I already have (the pioneer, the standards, etc...). Nonetheless, they look absolutely stunning, as usual. I have 2 15th foot figures and look forward to some additions...
When noticing Britains tremendous quality matte figures (Zulu Wars, Napoleonics, WWII...) I can't help wondering if we'll ever see this quality sprayed on a matte FIW action poses range. I for one like Britains matte figures better than John Jenkins...
