Gentlemen

I have been bestowed with the great honor of being named "The Fan of The Game" tonight at Nationals Park.

This is a great honor as I explained to Mrs. Phillips - since there will only be 81 of us this season.

I was featured on the Jumbotron / Scoreboard - and had the complete support of my fellow Nat Fans

Maybe a few beers and good cheer had something to do with it - but, hey - I won a $50 Gift Card - not bad.

Please excuse me while I go and update my resume with this great honor.

The candidates were of random selection - however the VOTE ! - was stadium-wide and it was a landslide

This is how it is done at NATIONALS PARK. They pick three people by random from different sections of the Park - lower level seats (mine 1st baseside), Club Level and Grandstand - then put the three candidates on the Scoreboard/Jumbotron for the crowd to VOTE with applause who is the "FAN OF THE GAME" - it is the purist form of Democracy

It is also kinda like the Roman Forum

Anyway thats how it is done.
