Fastening metal figures to glass shelves (1 Viewer)

A jolt to my stand-alone glass cabinet will knock a few figures down every time. Children always seem to get to the target. Does anybody recommend a two-sided adhesive, or rubber cement or something else that can hold the soldiers to the glass shelves when the cabinet is bumped by a little darling?

We started carrying this product on the advice of one of the members of this forum and seems to work very well, isn't permanent and doesn't leave marks or residue. It comes in 6-oz and 1-oz containers.

I have that stuff somewhere it works great! So how come I do not use it?? I have the same problem with the glass shelves too
