John, I am beginning to doubt whether you will ever fulfill the rumored lead horse and rider for Larrey’s ambulance. Also, there are your wonderful British nine pounder's limbers and six horse teams without a single outrider or seated artillerist.

These set may not be as popular as the WW1 stuff, but I have invested a lot of money buying cannon, limber and six horses. When these first come out I was lead to believe the supporting figures were to be added. When ?

I feel let down and forgotten.

John,

Don’t know why I suggested a seated artillerist; there are no seats on a British limber. I was thinking of an American CW limber. Plus, I must give you credit for producing the standing British artillery train driver figure, BCHLIMB-05, thank you.

It’s mainly the missing additions for Larrey’s ambulance I am still hoping for.

Had a senior moment, I was right on my first post the British limber does have two boxes where people could ride.

Hello King's Man,
Are you referring to the BAL-02 Limber? ...

Maybe I am missing something, but why would you want to see two seated figures on the ammo boxes.
There is a Driver with that set.

No Larry, it’s the War of 1812 British limber: BCHLIMB-01 that I am referring to. The two ammo boxes carried on the limber doubled as a place for 2 or 3 artillerists to ride instead of walk. In addition each of the three pairs of horses had a rider on the left (facing forward) horse. Our American Civil War cannon limbers were copied from the British design.

The set would look more complete with these additional figures. I can’t imagine a limber complete with 6 horses being on the battlefield without its teamsters.

Oh .. okay ... ya' I agree.
There are a few holes that need filling in the 1812 range and the seated drivers would be nice.
I have also been hoping for BCH British officers for a looooong time. Just ONE would be nice, even as a JJClub figure.

I know that 1812 is not high on John's list but I really like that series and would enjoy the chance to complete it a bit more.
