I have been listing some retired K&C items on ebay and after listing them I checked to see if anyone else had the same ones for sale to compare prices. Well guess who did, everyones favorite ebayer. His prices were more than twice what I was asking. It kinda gave me a happy feeling knowing his would sit while if anyone was intertested in the particular set only a fool would go with him.
Those boxes in his warehouse must have inches of dust on them, couldn't happen to a better fellow!

CAUTION GARY ... as George can confirm, I received some rather "nasty P.M. notes" when I last made reference to <he-who-shall-not-be-named>
Still ... eBay has NEVER been a place where logic and reason prevail!
Just sayin'

I've been selling some K&C items locally in Toronto and on TF Classifieds. So I have been checking sold prices on ebay for the same items and some of the higher priced items sell and they even sell when the same model is listed at a lower and sometimes much lower price

I had some early DD sets on ebay, 3 of the 4 didn't sell so when I relisted them I lowered the initial bid by $10 but added a Buy It Now for $20 over my first listing and they sold immediatelly with the buy it now. Go figure!

No way you can ever figure out what will happen on eBay.

It seems that once you LOG IN you abandon all sense of logic and reality. Last year my wife put on a set of Crystal Goblets. I think the price was something like $60.00. Unfortunately, she did not check to see if there were other similar items and their cost. When she did, she found there were three other sets, selling for $45 - $50.

Well, two bidders got into a frenzy and bid her set up to $97. The other, lower prices sets, didn't sell.

As you said Gary, "Go Figure"

It's hard to understand sometimes. I was watching a Russian figure from AeroArt, who listed it at $129 wiht a Buy it Now of 174. I wasn't about to pay $175. Well, along the way someone bid $129 and there is sat until the end, when it was bid up to $220.
