What would you rather have a few rare retired items or a huge King and Country collection of new items?

I assume the question has to do with the nature of finances and not just an absolute question regardless of finances. That being the case, I'd opt for having lots of new unretired items.

I think having many new sets. The new stuff is really nice, but I have to say my most favorite piece I have is the retired abandoned Stug. Okay, a little of both :)

Definitely new sets. They are better than the earlier ones, they will certainly get to skyrocketing prices in the future and they are easier to get. In the future though, I shall possibly be looking for some of them, left behind, and then they will be...retired sets.

Happy collecting,
Paulo

All the World War II stuff is "new" to me (I started collecting before any were retired), so obviously, what I have, a (whole) lot of the "new" stuff (the really new stuff is better . . . Andy just keeps improving the product).
