One of my favourite K & C ranges and was just looking through the sets I have, only a couple missing, but for me there is great scope here. I would like to see the following;
Bren [Universal] Gun Carrier - Andy has already put on the forum there is one due pretty soon........... I can only think it will be for the FOB range or the late war British set to go with the new BBB range! Do not think it is a German captured one used in Russia etc. There is enough scope as the Bren [Universal] Gun Carrier was the most manufactured armoured vehicle of all time, 113,000 made.
Matilda II tank - can just see the Arras counter attack in May 1940
British Morris truck either damaged or broken and abandoned.
French troops surrendering and/or taken prisoner.
French civilian car piled with belonging
Krupp 6 Wheeled Truck
I can dream, but one of the little ships from Operation Dynamo, lifting men from the beach or from the 'mole. there is great small book on the ships called 'The Little Ships of DUNKIRK' by N Leach, has some really good pictures of the ships now and a short description of the ship etc. On another but linked subject, I really enjoyed the fiction books on the retreat to Dunkirk by,
James Holland, character Sergeant Jack Holland.
Ian Gale, Character Peter Lamb
Max Adam, Character Eddie Dawson
Plus looking forward to the film on Dunkirk out later this year, which will have a lot to live up to, as the 1958 film was and still is excellent.
