Hi all, just a few photos of some Figarti armour, I recently picked up the older Figarti Panther and got to say it's better then advertised!! toss in some of my First Legion troops, TM Terrain diorama, and let the battles commence!!

The Panther (and Tiger) look awesome Sam as is the TM Terrain. Your FL troops also look great with all the Figarti tanks, i'll have to do a dio with my new Britains troops and Figarti armour sometime soon. Do you have the newer Figarti Panther by the way? It's a cracker as well mate and great value for money.

Hi Tom, thanks for the kind words, I look forward to seeing your Britains/Figarti diorama!! I passed on the latest Panther as I like the camo style of the older Panther/Tiger, they really work well together, I really hope Figarti gets back in the game on a regular basis, they have a great style that works well with my First Legion troops, I heard Matt at Hobby Bunker is working with Figarti in some reguard, so let's hope it all works out for Figarti and we collectors.

Figarti made the best Tiger I and Panther G to date. The mixed media i.e. flexible tracks, metal parts and cutout sprockets and bogies made them the most realistic Panzers available IMO.

They really look good in your diorama with the FL figures. Perfect size compatibility!

NICE Sammy....I wish that I would have kept that Early Figarti Panther....I like the fact that the tracks are fully visible with no side shields......Nice Diorama:salute::

Here is some of my Figarti armour. Im really impressed with the new Panther with the air defence camo. The price is also a bargain when compared to other tanks from different manufacturers. The flak halftrack is long retired but it's up there as one of my fav's.

The other vehicles and figures in the pic's are from First Legion (Tiger), Thomas Gunn, Britains and Kronprinz. The Panther commander is Honour Bound.

Some great vehicles Tom, but I'd give up a kidney to get your Halftrack, love that vehicle, and you are correct the Panther looks very well done esp. for the price, if Figarti could come back with a few more releases like that they would be back in the game in no time.

Thanks Sam and I know you have a great kidney mate but I would never part with my flak halftrack! ^&grin I know this has been said so many times on here but one can only hope we'll see more stuff from Figarti in the future.

Thanks Kat and this was my thoughts when I saw the Tiger. I immediately thought they would be good together.

I ended up selling my 251/17 and it brought in a pretty penny. I hoping for a lot, but it exceeded expectations. I forget the actual number. Probably a year ago is when I sold it.

Tom, have you thought about applying a wash to the Panther just to tone it down some and bring it more in line with the Tiger?

Never use a wash it can adversely effect the paint. Use colored chalk powder for weathering; it can be easily removed. The FL Tiger I could use some toning down too IMO. Figarti used to do a superb job of weathering i.e. the original Panther G, Tiger I late production and the excellent Panzer IV L70.

Figarti AFV's were excellent as this thread clearly shows....If they would get there act together it would be great for the hobby in general to see more AFV's released by them.....The Last Panther was excellent and at a fair price $269.....Obviously many collectors would be willing to purchase from Figarti if the products were produced.

Frank, if your referring to my Panther pictured as the last one made then it's actually $219 USD which makes it even better value!

Greetings from Queensland!

I know nothing of Figarti but given subsequent events I wonder if the price was too good to be sustainable. The fate of a business would be more complex than just a pricing issue but it appears great value, the product was by all accounts pretty good and based on the views expressed by collectors it sold pretty well but now no Figarti. If a restaurant is full every night and it fails I would wonder about the business model.

Anyway ... stay warm!

Greetings back at ya Marty and staying warm here is an understatement!!! Can you please blow some cool stuff my way!

What you say is true about Figarti and perhaps they under priced these tanks and the profit margin wasn't great. I wouldn't say there's no more Figarti but obviously it's a concern when you don't hear boo from them let alone see any new product. Hopefully they can get some capital behind them and bring out some items such as the King Tiger and other items they previewed at Chicago last year.

Per Rick Wang's comments on the other forum, the decision to sell off Figarti was based upon a need to focus on other business interests. Figarti was run basically as a hobby and the quality of the pieces reflect this mindset; especially the Shock and Awe pieces. The buyer of Figarti does not seem to be up to the task of generating investments in the venture.

My Normandy diorama finally has a decent background scene...Tiger looking for targets.
