What are your thoughts about Figarti figures?

I love Figarti vehicles. But I'm sorry to say, the figures are no where near the quality of K&C, in my opinion. The poses on most figures seem unnatural to me. It makes me wonder how K&C can do it so well.

I have the Winter Panzer IV displayed with my K&C bulge collection, but the only Figarti figure I use from the set is the gunner because the pose is so good. As much as I like the tank, I feel that I paid more than I should have since I don't use the other figures. I think it's 3 other figures. I can't help but think that I could have paid perhaps $70 less if the figures were available separately.

I would also consider getting the B-17 set because the plane itself is so awesome. But, I'd be paying for all those figures which I don't like and wouldn't use.

I should say that the Officer with the German sheperd is an exception. Hopefully, the quality will continue to improve. But in the meantime, I wish figures were sold separately from vehicles.

I shouldn't start so many sentences with "I". I can't help it though. I wonder if that means I'm self-centered. I don't know. I just can't write that well I guess. Dang!

I think there is a mixture in quality, both in terms of natural looking poses and detailing.
Have you had a look at the Iraq War line? These are some of the best IMO.

Figarti figures are steadily improving, but often are of mixed quality, some being quite excellent, others quite awful. Remember, Figarti has only been around for about 5 years. In that time they have absolutely mastered vehicle production, but have not quite been able to catch up to companies like K&C or John Jenkins Designs when it comes to figure production. I suspect that five years from now their figures will be comparable in quality to K&C's today (of course, by then, considering K&C's constant improvement, they may still seem a bit outclassed). However, look at K&C figures from the first five years (1984-1989) and you will see how far Figarti has come in a very short time.

The only issue I have with the figarti figures is that the painting is to dark to my taste.

Their painting has improved by leaps and bounds, when the V1 figures came out last fall in the new 1:30 scale they showed a remarkable improvement. I have to say their faces are as good, sometimes better than K&C's faces now. Their faces have much greater shading detail. Sure, many of the faces look the same but then so do K&C's. In terms of poses, some are excellent and some are still kind of stilted. K&C is still tops here. So poses are the next area of improvement Figarti needs to focus on, along with getting their German insignia/decorations more accurate (no more cufftitles on Wehrmacht figures please).
