Does anyone have Rick's email at Figarti?

I want to send him a personal thank you letter for the fine work he has been doing concerning the USMC lately...............Stryker

Rick reads the Forum but because of the time difference between Shanghai and the USA not many of us are on when he's on.

And, no, I'm not forgetting about our European or Australian members :)

Stryker,

Thank you, appreciate the support! We will continue to do more USMC in the future.

On a side note, I am sure all of us are eagerly awaiting HBO's "Pacific" on April 3rd, and even with time zone differences, we get HBO here in Shanghai so I'm excited.

Rick:

On behalf of ALL WWII Marines that served our country, thank you for not allowing them to be forgotten in this hobby! Both of your recent lines, Wake Island and now the Tarawa one, are extremely well done and a credit to the service they render, and the collectors are lucky to have these creations. Wake Island was hopelessly outnumbered and too far isolated--- to get to quickly enough, but the detachment there fought valiently and took a terrible toll on the enemy. They gave us something to cheer about in the dark early days.

I am so glad that you have decided to do Tarawa. It was without a doubt, the hardest landing in Marine Corps history. The lessons learned there, enabled the United States Marines to land on many foreign places, both during WWII and continueing till modern times. The vets, of this campaign in particular, deserve all the recognition that they can get. This was the first atoll ever attacked by us, and the enemy thought that a million men couldn't take Tarawa in a hundred years. It actually took 76 hours, but at what a fearsome price.

Figarti deserves the recognition it has received so far, by making a very quality product, and I will continue to support your efforts..........Semper Fi,

Stryker

thanks again Rick - finally, collectors have a manufacturer that listens to what other collectors really want on their shelves..I hope that these Tarawa sets are just the tip of the iceberg..Any possibility of an extension of the coconut log seawall?

As a new collector in this hobby...I just wanted to say thank you for creating Marine Corps Pacific based items. I'm limited in what I can buy and strictly collect American Civil War and Marine Corps items. Again, as a new collector I was extremely surprised at the lack of Marine corps (Pacific) items available in the industry. Someone pointed me your way and I'm grateful for it. I was very, very pleased with the quality of your figures (I bought the Marines climbing the sea wall on Tarawa piece). At any rate,I really hope you will keep them coming..you'll always be guaranteed at least one sale from this Marine.

Semper Fi----Dan
