A week or so ago I mentioned that I had a spare copy of the Figarti Figure of SS trooper and German shepard given out at the West Coaster that I'd be willing to part with. Several of you replied that you were interested, so it seems that the only fair way to do this is by silent auction. Figarti said that any of us who sold on eBay should ask $100 as a starting price as there were only 150 made, but that seems too high to me. Post your best offer and whoever offers the best price by Saturday midnight gets doggie and master. I'll accept either PayPal or money order. Hope that gives everyone an equal opportunity. I should say that there's a small paint chip on the corner of the trooper's coat . . . less than 1/16th inch in diameter and easily repaired with paint or magic marker. Other than that, everything is fine.

They made 150? how come on the base it says limited edition of 60?

Cheers:

What I heard was that there were 60 made but to ask/list the figure at $150.00. Hope this helps!

60 would make more sense since several of the recent Figarti sets have been limited to that number, yet they are "wide" releases. For $100 you can get the new winter German set containing 4 different figures, each limited to 60 pieces as well, so asking $150 for this particular figure, as nice as it is, would seem a bit over the top.

Appears as if I was wrong saying that 150 figures were made . . . OK, a limited edition of 60 figures! To keep this from being a peeing contest a la eBay, it has been suggested that everyone eMail me your best bid. Sounds good to me . . . I'll announce the high bid and winner on Sunday.

Send me your bids to me at afisherjr@aol.com by midnight Saturday.

One of the attendees at the Figarti preview sold his/her figure for $150 at the West Coaster, which is why some collectors are saying the figure is worth $150.:)

Price is relative my friend. It is not exactly a one of a kind figure. But to me it is very valuable. I would not sell it for 250.00

I think the difference is that this is an item not generally available to the collecting public as all 60 have been already given away whereas the new German set is available to all of us, provided you make a timely request. It's the difference between one or 60 of a particular thing being available. The one will always garner the most dollars.

Here you go Ron; you've got a shot now at getting the figure you wanted so you can build that display...............

OK guys and gals . . . last chance as the auction for doggie and handler closes at midnight tonight (Saturday) so don't miss out! I've receive three bids only, so don't pass this one up.

Old one Sean! But the picture did not do the figure justice. It is now available with a new terrain piece. I kept mine though.:D

These pictures where taken at the West Coast Show. The dog looks much better in person.
