Re: figth in the court yard

Hi Tim,

You present some of the most exciting dioramas on the forum, which I greatly appreciate! Now that you have moved into your new home, do you have space in which you can allow some of your dioramas to remain on display or must you pack them away after a while? It would be great if you could leave them on display for visitors to enjoy.

Thanks for posting the pictures. I always enjoy your work!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Thanks Pat! I,ve got a table down there (in the basement)right now I can leave stuff set up on but it doubles as a building station for larger projects like making my foam buildings ect. Its only so big so I,m limited to the size of the diorama I can set up on it. There are also 2 evil cats down there who seem to think this is a really good spot to take a nap!!! So leaving stuff set up dosn,t work out so well for me! Although its great for the people who make Zap A Gap glue!:p
When it warms up down there I plan on doing some more larger diorams using the floor so I can make them much larger and use more of my figures and scenics.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for responding to my question. I shall look forward to seeing your larger dioramas when warmer temperatures allow you to set them up.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Re: figth in the court yard

Pat Tim's got one big floor to play with in his man cave trust me I've been there and just wait and see what he's got in store for us. Tim saw some ot the Brit's you hunted for an found on one of our visit to the Dedham Show. Once again great batch of photos from your archives........The Lt.

Re: figth in the court yard

Johno, Tim,

Great work guys. Wish I had the funds to get more Naps, but I'm spread pretty thin over a number of other eras. Your dios and displays do make it tempting though.

Great pictures. I love the large set ups like this. Is this really on your floor? Looks like a lot of figures. How big is it in total?

Thx

Not directly related to this post but I thought it was close enough. I am assuming you have the WB Nap hospital scene. Got a question about the scene. Are all of the figures separate? I was thinking of adapting the scene to ACW by adding ACW wounded soldiers, changing the dress slightly on the surgeon and removing a few of the extra accessory pieces? But this will not work if the surgeon and the wounded soldier are connected or if the wounded soldier is connected to the operating table.

Let me know

Thx

Yes it,s on the floor, It,s the only place I have to set up larger dioramas. I don,t have a table large enough to set up anything this big. I,m Not really sure how big that one was? I have a 8ft x4ft grass mat I would lay out and just throw my scenic pieces around on it. I build my own scenic pieces and I have a lot off various pieces I,ve made, some are bigger then others and can be used on the sides of the grass to make the dios even larger or to overlap yet another grass mat.
The wounded figure set your asking about was not yet released at the time I did this set but I do have the set and yes the figures are seperate pieces and not conected together.

I,ve done a few other larger set up also and plan on doing some even larger set ups soon I hope?

Here are links to a few of my other dioramas!
