Anyone have a complete list of every set/figute they have? I dont have a complete list of ny collection but i do have a count of the amount of figures I have.

Up until a few years ago I had a large trophy and little legion Zulu collection with about anorher 50+ figures but sold them to purchase an M1 carbine for reenactment. Since startubg reenactng i have bought a lot of gear for that but with that in mind Ive been collecting since I was seven but did not start my serious collecting days till I was about 12. My main companies to buy from have always been King and Country, Britains and Trophy Miniatures. The collecting areas have always been The Second World War, particularly Arnhem 44, D-Day, and Napoleonic Waterloo.

Tonight I did a count and I havea total of 878 figures and 69 vehicles and 9 napoleonic cannons. These are displayed in 6 dioramas and also extra figures are kept in cupboards and on the work area in my loft.

With 7 more figures coming from ebay, 3 from king and Country and 1 vehicle from king the latter.

Also have an order with a local dealer for 4 Britains figures. And I have still to pick up the latest 7 mg figures and 25lber and crew!

Trying to hit 1000 before the end of the year!Haha.

What about you guys? What's your counts?

Scott

I probably have about 700 figures and 30 vehicles (about which includes 15 planes, landing craft, a junk, and numerous other WWIi items). I created an Access database for mine, but I am still entering data.

My figure buying is almost at a halt, with only the pilots for my aircraft being bought at this time. Lots of effort towards the aircraft, now totaling 25 and I also have about 13 AFV's. I have a record of every set I own, but not an exact count. Somewhere in the 700 range is about right for metal figures. -- Al

I have somewhere around 700 figures and 12ish cannon with crews. I am 18 and have been collecting since I was 10.
How old are you, Scott?

I use Excel Workbooks (with tabs for each manufacturer) to keep track of my collections. So far the total for toy soldier (military) figures, including vehicles, and artillery pieces in 54mm scale is 4,017; and for non-military the total is 844. For wargaming 4,332 figures (on 1,390 stands) in 15mm scale, and 482 figures in 25/30mm scale. In militaria collectables there are 139 items to date. For the toy soldier and military uniform reference library there are 414 volumes. This approach has helped me when going to shows, for reselling, helps appraisers, and estate and insurance purposes. The spreadsheets also contain the maker, cat. number, and MSRP for missing (want list) figures.

Typo?? "foot locker with lots of boys" Hmmmmm. {sm2} Hope its TOYS! or Bouys?

It's far easier to count cabinets. I have four of those - all full - so needed another - about a year ago!

Will need to make room for another cabinet! [ I always get fed up with counting about half-way through cabinet 1!!!!]. jb

What era of militaria? aside from my reenacting uniforms and weapons, I "gather" Napoleonic, French, and other militaria stuff. I have buttons, some medals, a Napoleonic bayonet, coins, watches, postcards, knives, antiquarian books, and artwork.

Saw the thread so had to count!

25 Conte Zulu
64 JJD (20 Jacobite, 25 Sudan, 19 FIW)
35 Britains Napoleonic
96 K+C (20 Bulge, 11 Market Garden, 29 Crimea, 29 AWI, 7 DDay)

...so 220 figures plus 1 tank, 1 jeep, 2 cannons, 1 motorcycle, 1 ambulance, 9 horses and 1 canoe!

What do you mean by 'uniform'? The nice thing about repro weapons is that you can shoot them{sm4}! With muskets, you can't understand battlefield dynamics until you (literally) try and fail to hit the broad side of a board at 30 feet. Reenacting is quite fun, but my reenacting stuff is quite seperate from my all-original collection of militaria.

Well as we do US 2nd rangers we use of original uniform, so in other words we buy uniform items from dealers, friends and ebay which are 70+ year old like hbts, wool class a dress, helmets, hats all with pre 1945 dates on them!:)
