Hello everybody,
I was wondering if it could be interesting for the forum members to come up with a "figure of the month" or a set or a vehicle, whatever is currently on the top in your collection? Any manufacturer, any scale, plastic or metal, glossy or matte, everything would be welcome.
As a start I would want to show my pick of this month, a set that I recently aquired after joining the Britains Collector's Club. It is last year's Christmas Set, no. 43085C, called "God Bless You Ma'am", showing Florence Nightingale, a Wounded 49th Regiment of Foot Enlisted Man and an Officer.
Hope you like it and it would be great to see other members join this thread.
Happy Collecting!
Konrad

Wow......
Now, I openly admit that neither glossy nor Britians shake my tree, but I have to say that is a really nice set. Its something like what I had in mind when I suggested over on the K&C thread that K&C UK ought to consider some "personality" figures in their Crimean War range.
Thanks for posting and I also hope that other froggers join this thread. I think its a good idea and might show the trends in the overall preferences of our members.

Cheers
H

Nice looking set Konrad. Looks very well sculpted and painted. How would the figure of the month work (sounds like a great idea!). Does every member who wants to participate submit his/her choice for that month and tell us something about it?

Thats a nice looking set ,here is one of my favourites at the moment.
I,ve had it stored away until recently but now i,ve got a little more display
space so it back out.

This idea was started on one of the other forums and is one of my favorite threads there letting you see a few choice pieces from the collections of other collectors. I hope this will also catch on over here also.
I help get us started with a russian painted figure of marshall Murat.

Yes Brad,

who ever wants to participate and pick a figure/set/vehicle should show us the choice and of course it would be nice to get some info or reason for choosing that particular item.

It might lead to a nice variety of pictures, comments and surprises for everyone to share.

Konrad
